Manuel Garcia
“Manny” is a very active member of our Council along with involvement with the parish with the Hospitality Ministry.
In January he was an inspiration to all of the kids participating in our Knights of Columbus Free throw competition we held at Rock Ridge Elementary School gym. He is always available to help out wherever needed!
Thank You Manny!!
Joe and Gloria Nussbaum
Joe has been a longstanding presence in the Knights of Columbus here at St. Francis of Assisi for many years. He has directed many young men into the Council over the years, I included!
Though his health has been poor recently he still is involved and wants to help when and where he can. He and his wife Gloria are responsible for decorating the Sanctuary and altar area for the Christmas Season and this year was no different. They do a wonderful job with that and making our Parish and Council Great!!
Thank You Joe and Gloria!!
Our Foundation
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by blessed Father Michael McGivney in New Haven, CT. Our council is based on the principles he identified of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. We are sponsored by the St. Francis of Assisi parish in Castle Rock, Colorado with the intentions to increase the faith of our members, their families, and the parish as a whole through prayer and service.
Our Founder
The founder of the Knights of Columbus, Father Michael J. McGivney was a central figure in the growth of Catholicism in America, and he remains a model today.
His example of charity, evangelization and empowerment of the laity continues to bear fruit and guide Knights of Columbus around the world.
Our Parish
Welcome to our parish dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi! We have been working to make saints with Jesus in his Catholic Church since 1888, We are happy to have you with us!
Becoming more and more like Jesus was the mission of Francis.
It’s our mission, too!
Our Faith
Our goal is to help men, their families and their parishes grow closer to Christ. Through our programs and resources, we provide opportunities to live and spread the Catholic faith.
