Council 8909 operates as a nonprofit organization. All proceeds from sales, donations, and fundraising activities support the council’s programs, charitable initiatives, and events. Purchases are not tax-deductible unless explicitly stated. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law; donors are advised to consult a tax advisor. Receipts for donations will be provided upon request.
Council 8909 may publish photos or other content that include members, parishioners, and community participants. Consent for photos taken in public settings is considered implied. For non-public settings, individuals are presumed to consent when they knowingly pose for photos, such as during award ceremonies. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Council 8909, its parish affiliates, Website designers, hosts, and maintainers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Website or violation of these Terms.
