Douglas County Fair 2024 was “Sizzling” Hot for Council 8909
On July 24th Council 8909 set out on a 12-day Journey and Adventure at Douglas County Fairgrounds with 3 Food and Beverage Venues to offer the community of Castle Rock and Douglas County Fair and Rodeo! Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Board asked our Council to come back again after a very successful 2023 which we were very proud to accept! And I truly believe we were as successful if not more in our efforts to provide to the community and to represent our Council and Parish at St. Francis of Assisi this year! The memory of this year’s Event was “HOT”! Everyday out there the temperatures were in the 90+ degrees! But everyone persevered and I believe they enjoyed themselves as well!
Highlights: Being recognized with our Knights of Columbus 8909 Sponsorship and support of the Hometown Rodeo on July 27th! Selling over 4000 bottles of water over the 12 scorching hot days! There was a lot of time and hard work put into making 2024 a success; and I would like to Thank All of you Knights, Family, and Friends who helped make this happen!
